When I kicked around upon my graduation of high school, I met a rapper Tsubaki and listened Japanese raps at a club, which was a trigger. Seeing that Tsubaki won the reward of MC battle, I thought that I can do it by myself and it’s worth trying it. So I started listening Hip Hop and rapping almost at the same time.
When I was a kid, I saw Top100 of MTV on cable, but I was not interested in Hip Hop by myself. Rather I listened more melodic core or rock like major rock such as ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, ELLEGARDEN, off spring and Green Day. Before starting rapping, I listened Eminem and Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston and Baby Bash.
Everyday life, people who I meet, place where I went, sceneries, and every event around me.
Of course, I still go to clubs with my friends and feel vibes but think I’m grown knowing many things, compared with the time when I went and had fun without knowing anything. I’m a person who need to sleep at night so I don’t stay up late having fun until morning now.
Recently regarding music, I’ve listened the songs of Joe Hisaishi.
In addition, the recent manga I’ve read is “Red Flower, White Flower”, the life of the women and the way to earn money. There are so many good tag lines that I took screenshots of them.
The event, Area 47, at harlem at Shibuya last year with Hip Hop artists from Okinawa was so successful, and all tickets were sold out. It was too crowded for people who came late to enter. Since the event was really exciting, I’d like to held it this year.
In addition, I participated in the solo live of Hannya at Budokan.
I always work energetically on activities of lives and singles/albums production and as needed notify on Instagram and Twitter.
Also, CHOJI who is one of my senior rappers has an YouTube channel called CTV, and I’d like you to see it because the chill scenes with friends, live and lifestyle are shot with a documentary tough and are also interesting.
埼玉の蕨にあるHair Salon FREEDOMってところにヘアスタイルをお願いしてて、昨日髪型を変えました。今のヘアスタイルはタイトロープって名前なんですよ。
I like a street brand Lafayette.
The point of choosing cloth is to challenge a new style without molding to my own liking! I look very nice with clothes so if I can image, I think I’m able to dress nicely with high brands.
I have grown out my hair since I was 18 years old. I’m sometimes asked “is it because of a religious reason?”, but it’s not. Lol The trigger of keeping my hair growing is to have dreadlocked hair, but my closest person, Tsubaki, had it so I decided not.
I usually go to Hair Salon Freedom at Warabi, Saitama and changed my hair yesterday. The current hair style is called tightrope.

Because my mother was a piano instructor, I started playing the piano when I was three. Through my brother, I was into Michael and Prince. When I was a junior high school student, I started a guitar and at my high school, I formed my band. Since then, I’ve played music.
What is your inspection?
From news or the conversation with people in a daily life.
For music, songs are came up with on the move and in a quiet time before going to sleep, there are some occasions that a complete song can be heard in my mind.

Down town81で終盤にJames whiteやkid creole&the coconutsがliveをしている場面がある、Aliは現代にdowntown81が撮影されていたらあの中にいてもおかしくないし、いてほしい。
Ali consists of members from early twenty to early thirty, but when I saw them in the first time, I could sense nostalgic Rudy-ish feeling.
It came from their style of show and themselves before and after the shows.
In the end of Down town81, there is a scene in which James white and Kid creole&the coconuts played a live show. If Down town81 was shot now, it would not strange that Ali was in the scene, or they should.
What made you decide to form a band?
The father of jua who is a rapper of Ali is a rapper, and all of us started music when we were teenagers. We told to people who look different from others, and there are members who were found in part time. Like attracts like.
How old are members of Ali?
I’m 32, and the youngest is 22.
In the previous interview, you listed foreign artists like Bob Marley and Jim Morrison as favorite artists, but which Japanese band do you like?
I like ゆらゆら帝国, DMBQ and king brothers.
Which movie influences you?
Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon. I also like Jim Jarmusch and Gaspar Noé.
If you wrote your introduction, how would it be?
Mmm,,,, dreamland, I want to create a music dreamland. I dream of making a music heaven.
How do you do with costumes of your live?
We all wear what we have to perform our live.
The backgrounds of members of Ali are different, is there anything in common?
No, nothing lol, but I feel we all have our brief on what we like.
When I saw Ali’s live in the first time, it doesn’t mean music look like specials but your band color and Rudy-ness are similar with those of specials. it was cool.
Really? I really like specials. I want to be like bad boys like them.
Any fes do you want to attend?
I want to perform Fuji Rock. Really want.
Also, sunset in Fukuoka and rising in Hokkaido.
What kind of location do you want to perform a live?
There is a nostalgia in a club, isn’t there? You want to leave but you cannot. When we create music, we imagine that moment. So club and ruby room were interesting. Also, I want to perform at the moment of sunrise or sunset.
Hmmm i feel the music and fashion insdustry in tokyo isn't ready for change (make it different) just trying to do the same as Europe or NY. (But Tokyo won't be like'em). people mentality here still close.
Perfect is boring for me.
Japanese fashion has more originality so I think it’s possible to be pioneer.
