90年代、東京を拠点に、ブランド
『Mari J Brooklyn』を立ち上げ、
JJ, anan, nonno などの雑誌に掲載される。
後に、『ローリンヒル』や『エリカバデュー』などのレジェンドアーティストに愛用され、スタイリストも手がける。
現在『ミンネ』でリメイク洋服を販売中。

2006年、拠点をNYに移し、
『 WOOFIN’girl 』や『 LUSSW 』マガジンなどでライターを始め、
『 UNIVERSE 』マガジンでは、ストリートファッション、クラブシーン、NYファッションショーなど、
NYカルチャーやアー写の写真を撮り始める。
初めてのアーティスト写真はhiphopを代表するラッパー『ラキーム』また、ラッパー『J-COLE』の映像インタビューを制作。
2014年、ヒップホップマガジン『WOOFIN’』では、
ブルックリンを代表するNYラッパー『Flatbushzombies』の表紙を撮影した。
その後、『Joey Baddass』ルーツレゲーアーティスト『Chronixx』などを撮影し、
『Travis Scott 』をブッキング、クリエイティブディレクターから表紙撮影まで手がける。
2018年、初の写真個展『Root & Culture』を
原宿ビームスギャラリーにて開催。
2019年より、東京とNYのカルチャーマガジン
『 TO + NY magazine 』をオンラインで出版。
現在編集長として現在に至る。

In the 90's, based in Tokyo, I launched the brand "Mari J Brooklyn".
My brand appeared in magazines such as JJ, anan, and nonno.
Later, the brand was patronized by legendary artists such as "Lauryn Hill" and "Erykah Badu", and also worked as a stylist.
I am currently selling remake clothes at "Minne".
Photographer/Editor-in-Chief
In 2006, she moved to New York and started working as a photographer for "WOOFIN'girl",
I started writing for WOOFIN'girl and LUSSW magazines,
I started to take photos of New York culture and art photography for "UNIVERSE" magazine, including street fashion, club scene, and New York fashion shows.
My first artist photo was for hiphop rapper "Rakeem", and I also produced a video interview with rapper "J-COLE".
In 2014, for the hiphop magazine "WOOFIN',
I shot the cover of Brooklyn's leading NY rapper "Flatbushzombies".
I have since photographed Joey Baddass, roots reggae artist Chronixx, and more,
I booked "Travis Scott" and worked as creative director and photographer for the cover.
In 2018, I held my first solo photography exhibition "Root & Culture" at
Harajuku Beams Gallery in 2018.
From 2019, I have been publishing the Tokyo and New York culture online magazine “TO + NY magazine"
I am currently the editor-in-chief of the magazine.
